Age Groups/Divisions
- Cal Ripken 10A/10B and 12A/12B (Ages 9-12)
Any player born prior to May 1, 2017, and on or after May 1, 2013, will be eligible for Cal Ripken Baseball League competition. Roseau Baseball will field teams at the 9-12 year old age levels. These teams will participate at the 10U (A/B) and 12U (A/B) levels. All 10U and 12U levels will participate in the North Border League. Teams will be comprised of 9 year olds at 10U-B, 10 year olds at 10U-A, 11 year olds at 12U-B, 12 year olds at the 12U-A. Player participation at each level may change due to numbers, age, and ability. We will consider adding teams if needed and attempt to keep grade levels together, even if players may be younger/older than their classmates.
- Babe Ruth (16U)
Any player born after January 1, 2010 will be eligible for Babe Ruth 16U League competition. 16U baseball this year will consist of multiple teams (very similar to jr high baseball and JV). 13s and 14s will make 1-2 teams and 15s and 16s will make up 1-2 teams. Games will start when school is out for the summer. Teams will be split up accordingly after registration is complete.
- Legion 19U (typically 9th-12th grades)
Senior American Legion Baseball competition in 2026 is open to players born on or after Jan. 1, 2007. Legion is an extension of the High School varsity season. If your child played Varsity Baseball, Legion is usually their level. A full schedule of games and practices will be provided when completed. Games will start when the High School playoffs are completed. If you have questions and/or concerns regarding Legion baseball, please contact Tyler Landman at 218-242-5977.
- 8U Girls Softball Skills Development
There will be practice two days/week for girls 7-8 year old to work on skill development. There will be no traveling or competition at this level.
- 10U, 12U, 14U, 18U Fastpitch League
Players age on or before August 31, 2026 will determine team placement. Listen to Wild102, and the School Announcements for any changes. A full schedule of games and practices will be provided when completed. Practice and games will be held Monday, Wednesday & Thursday. Games will be played in the evenings starting at 6:00pm. Each game will be will be played as a double header with the opposing team. Games will start at the beginning of June and go through mid July. Each team will complete in two tournaments. Advancement to the next level of softball will be based on age, skill, knowledge of the game, and level of the competition of the team we are playing. Athletes with advanced skill may be asked to play at the next level.

If you are registering more than two players in your family this season, you are eligible for a 100% refund. To apply for the Family discount you must directly contact The Registrar, Keith Severson with your information.
